There’s no AC, and the rooms are unhygienic. The one upside is that it’s near Istiklal Street.

The location is the only good part. The service was bad, there was no water, electricity, or AC, and nobody was around to help. No curtains, cramped rooms, terrible breakfast, and the lift didn’t work.

There isn’t even a zero-star option. This place is miserable. No one could stay here for half an hour. Be careful and don’t go. May God bear witness that I have delivered the message.

The bathroom was falling apart. Its plumbing seemed very old, the shower was rickety, and water sprayed everywhere except where it should. Even the light over the shower was out, and although I noticed at around 3 or 4 PM on a Friday, they said it couldn’t be replaced until the next day. I’d checked in at 3 PM, left my things, and gone for a walk. When I returned around 9 PM, I also learned the AC wasn’t working anywhere in the hotel. They said it was “off-season” and wouldn’t turn it on until the next month, even though it was mid-June and 28-30°C (82-86°F) in Istanbul. Nearby hotels had working AC. The room was terribly stuffy. It was small, and opening the window barely helped, while the very noisy street made it impossible to sleep with it open. Everything in the room was VERY loud. The TVs throughout the hotel weren’t working either. There were just two outlets, both inconveniently far from the bed. I checked out the same day without spending a night, but they refused a refund, saying they’d held the room just for me. This was a complete nightmare, and the reviews seem clearly inflated. Don’t stay here under any circumstances.
