Vision Deluxe Hotel

It's a good hotel, and they cleaned our room every day. The room was neither very small nor very big, but we did have bed bugs. Nobody spoke English.

Topaki palace, sultan Ahmed mosque, and Aya Sophia were all close enough for us to walk to, and I felt safe in the area. I was comfortable leaving my valuables in the room, and nothing was taken. The facilities were top-notch, with a delicious breakfast spread and relaxing spa services. From the moment I arrived at Vision Deluxe Hotel Istanbul, the staff welcomed me warmly and professionally. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept well after days out exploring Istanbul. Faisal, the manager, really stood out. He was always there to help, whether arranging transportation, suggesting local attractions, or checking that everything was to my liking. His attention to detail and care for guests made the stay memorable.

For more than 1100€, I booked a 32m² room with 4 large beds, but was given a cramped 15m² room with just 3 beds. There were four of us, so one person had to sleep on the floor. The AC didn't work, and the damp in the room and bathroom was disgusting. We arrived late and had no other choice but to stay. The manager said he didn't care because the hotel was full. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel? I hope I get my money back. Thanks for ruining the holiday. At least the employees were very nice.

The breakfast was good, and I was happy with it. The restaurant staff were passionate and helpful, and everyone else on the team, from reception through the restaurant, was friendly and kind. I spent 14 days here for a seasonal holiday, and I want to be fair in describing it. Room service did a good job for the first four days, then stopped. After a couple of days without cleaning, I had to call, even though I'd tried to be generous with them. The room also wasn't insulated as well as advertised. You could hear people talking and toilets flushing, even small noises. The old man next door barely left his room and spent time on the phone, especially at dawn, which was painful. The worst part was the hotel manager, whose name I think was Na’mer. He bullied staff and didn't hesitate to attack guests. I'd avoid rooms on the top floor, since the sloped roof makes them very wide to heat or worth the price, in my opinion. I didn't like the neighbourhood as much as I expected. It's full of bulk sales shops and immigrants, though there are cheap restaurants and stores. As a tourist, I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want to explore local culture, daily life, and restaurants.
