Viv City Hotel

The hotel's location worked well for us: it was a 10 minute walk to both the dental clinic that arranged our stay and the outlet mall. Everything else was awful. The mattresses felt like hammocks, and the A/C was either blasting at 30 degrees Celsius or off, with no way to control the temperature. Staff barely spoke English and frowned when we asked for the breakfast included in the price, so we didn't ask again. On our second and final night, they slammed doors, vacuumed, and shouted in the corridor until midnight. It kept happening even after we complained at reception. We felt like unwanted guests, which was incredibly frustrating. I can't recommend this place at all.

Our host was quick to respond and helpful throughout, which made everything easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable, just as described, and felt like good value for the price. We had a very good stay and would happily return. I'd recommend it.

The receptionist was excellent, friendly, and easy to approach, and she knew how to speak English. My short stay was really enjoyable. The room was clean, affordable, and came with a complete package. Recommended 👍

The tea and coffee were good, and the TV and internet worked very well. Still, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The rooms are extremely noisy, with busy roads on three sides, and the ground floor has a shisha place and smoking area. Smoke gets into the rooms whether the windows are open or closed, on every floor. The air conditioning is as loud as a tractor and can't be switched off. I was also without hot water for two days. I'll post some videos of the A/C. Worst hotel in Istanbul.
