Woxx Hotel

I've returned several times because the rooms, cleanliness, and facilities have always been very good. Mr. Faruk at reception is consistently welcoming, friendly, and professional, just the sort of service you'd expect from a good hotel. My latest visit was different. Kemal was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional at check-in, leaving me uncomfortable instead of welcomed as a returning guest. It's disappointing that one employee's behavior can hurt an otherwise good hotel's reputation. As a loyal guest, I expected better, and after this experience I'll seriously reconsider booking here again.

We stayed for five days and the breakfast was delicious every time. The staff always greeted us with a smile, and the location made getting around easy. The tramway and metro are nearby, and Sulaymane mosque and other places are within walking distance. Thanks so much!

The hotel sits in Istanbul's historic area, and it was comfortable and nice. Check-in and checkout were both quick and pleasant. A special thanks to receptionist Kemal, who showed me around and answered all my questions. Cleaning was done on time without disturbing me. I'd recommend it for solo travelers or couples, since the rooms aren't big enough for three or more people.

It was a lovely surprise to find the hotel so well placed for visiting Istanbul's many sights, especially when the museums weren't crowded. I know it's not peak tourist season, but this felt like a great time and place to visit. I've just come back from Istanbul after trying several hotels. They were all good, but this one was my favorite. Breakfast is included whatever room you book. The staff were sociable, responsive, and made me feel comfortable. I try to speak English on vacation, so their kindness wasn't just because they speak Russian. They also happily answered questions that had nothing to do with the hotel. Thanks to the reception team, Faruk, Abdullah, and Kemal, and to the lovely woman serving breakfast. I don't know her name, but I wish I did. You’ll be in good hands here. I recommend it.
