The reception also serves as security, and the guard was very helpful despite the language barrier. It's a good location, with easy access to the bazaar, local eateries, and monuments. There was construction next door, but the area seemed good, just one street away from the Marriott and Hilton hotel. I booked a studio, but the unit had a large living room, kitchenette, and separate bathroom, so it was very good value. Part of it has been renovated, though the sofa and curtain look a bit old or could use cleaning. It's an apartment building with rooms only, so there's no breakfast.

The reception staff are helpful, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. You might still find a few crumbs between the sofa cushions, so don't expect a thorough clean. But for the amount of space and the location in central Izmir, it's very good for the price.

A good budget option right in the city center, with quite large rooms and an open kitchen. The rooms aren't particularly well maintained or very clean, but at least there's no carpet. There's also a Smart TV with an internet connection.

I booked for a week, but left after just one day without even sleeping in the bed. The place was awful: filthy, with staff who didn't seem to care, and a terrible interior. Don't trust the shiny photos. The doors don't shut properly and the furniture is worn out. With their no-refund policy, it was a total waste of money. Don't go.

The room was noisy, WiFi was hard to connect to, and the staff weren't helpful. Breakfast was basic too. Sorry, but if it were up to me, I'd have left the hotel right away.
