Mithras Hotel

The hotel is beautifully remodeled, and it somehow stays very quiet while sitting in a lively, safe entertainment district full of places to eat, drink, and people-watch. The staff are warm and professional, from the receptionists to the woman making a delicious, ample breakfast and the woman keeping the rooms sparkling clean. The English-speaking owner is great to chat with, and there’s also a cuddly cat named Shakira. Six stars!

The hotel was renovated a year ago, so the furniture is all new, and the place is very clean and nice. The hospitality was great. Rooms are a little small, especially if you have a child, and there’s no free parking. Aside from that, it was a nice stay.

Resting and sleeping well should be the main point of a hotel stay, but that wasn't possible here. The street is extremely noisy, the windows don't block enough sound, and the bar beside the hotel hosts parties on the street. Cars honk and play loud music at any hour. Cigarette smoke from the neighboring room also came into ours. Very poor quality.

There wasn't much to complain about. The quality was good and everyone was really nice. Their English wasn't very strong, but we managed to communicate. My only issue was the bathroom door, some kind of glass that was hard to shut and didn't offer much privacy.
