A great shop for traditional ceramics from Türkiye, with lots of lovely pieces inside. The owner and staff are very attentive and helpful.

After visiting a dozen shops, this was where we found the çini pieces we liked best. It's an outstanding artisan store with a garden cafe, and they source work from exceptional artists. If you're after handmade, high-quality çini, it's well worth stopping in.

The tiled house was cosy, and if you're more interested in art than breakfast, it's served with tile pieces. The garden, though, needs urgent planning and cleaning. We had to move our table and chairs to get out of the burning sun, and we had to find an employee whenever we needed more tea or bread. The place didn't quite meet our needs.

Inside the mansion, you can admire the tiles that symbolize Iznik. Out in the garden, it's a lovely place to have tea or coffee in the shade of the olive tree.
