Nadir Business Hotel

The staff were great. I stayed for 9 nights, and the front desk, maintenance, cleaning and kitchen teams all kept checking that I was comfortable. Whenever I mentioned something in a room that needed attention, they immediately and gladly offered me another room.

The location is convenient for Karaman, but that’s the only positive I can point to. At 228 USD for two rooms for one night, Nadir Business Hotel in Karaman was the most expensive place I stayed during my trip around Turkey, and also the most disappointing. I expected much more for that price. I’d specifically reserved non-smoking rooms because people in my family have allergies and asthma. Both rooms clearly smelled of smoke. We woke up with scratchy throats and itchy eyes, and had trouble breathing, exactly what I’d hoped to avoid. They also charge per person and child even when a child uses an existing bed, unlike the other hotels we stayed at. The hot water didn’t work, so the showers were only lukewarm at best. One bathroom had no toilet paper when we arrived. For the highest bill of our trip, 228 for one night and only two rooms, those basics were missing. With the lack of cleanliness, basic amenities and comfort, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short walk away, and the hotel is in a good spot in town. The staff were great, and breakfast had a good selection. We had two rooms: one was well equipped and looked quite new, while the other felt a bit older.

The hotel was nice otherwise, with a good location, helpful staff, and an easy parking spot right out front. But watch the descriptions. We booked a double room and got two single beds pushed together instead. That was really disappointing and uncomfortable. That isn’t a double bed, as the photo shows.
