Kaş Köy Hotel

KaşKöy's private beach was a real plus, and the staff were so friendly. We had a fantastic stay and loved the Turkish breakfast each morning. It's a charming hotel that seems especially popular with domestic tourists. Since it's a little outside Kaş town, renting a car is a good idea. Taxis work well too, at a fixed rate of 300 TL. We'd love to return one day.

The manager was friendly and very helpful, and breakfast was good. There isn't a dinner service, but that wasn't a problem with so many good restaurants in Kas. The hotel is lovely, with bougainvillea, a balcony in every room, and spectacular views over the water. You do have to cross a road to reach the beach. I'd recommend it.

I sprained my ankle just a few hours before check-in and hadn't had a chance to tell the hotel. Even on crutches, I was met with lots of suggestions to make things easier. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I've often felt uneasy about hotel cleanliness, but this was the cleanest place I've ever stayed: no dust, fresh sheets and towels, and spotless dining and beach areas. The hotel surroundings were clean too, and staff were quick to help. The beach is close, with enough sunbeds that we didn't have to claim one at 8 a.m. Food can be ordered at the beach and paid for at the front desk when you return, so there's no need to bring your wallet. The water is a beautiful clear blue, and our room had the best view I've ever seen. Breakfast was a simple buffet, but it was delicious and high quality, with something for everyone. I don't think I've had a more satisfying stay, and I'm definitely coming back.

The staff were kind and helpful throughout, especially Barış bey. From our first phone call until we left, he was always friendly and upbeat, and the kind of person you'd enjoy talking with. As we drove off, he even poured water over our car, a Turkish custom wishing us an easy journey home. The walk to the city center takes about 30 minutes at a relaxed pace, but it's a beautiful route. We walked there for dinner each evening and came back on foot. Kaş Köy has clean, cozy bungalow-style rooms with balconies, and the breakfast really is excellent: fruit and vegetables, at least three kinds of olives, homemade marmalades, changing desserts like cake, cookies or pancakes, various cheeses, and cereals. The hotel has its own beach pontoon, with free sunbeds and umbrellas. There's also a shower, changing room, toilets, and a bar with a tiny kitchen serving cold beer and freshly fried fries. After climbing the steep stairs back up, you might decide another beer is easier than fetching something you forgot. The seawater is top-notch, as it is throughout Kaş. I'll stay here again :)
