Holiday Inn Kayseri - Duvenonu, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was clean and spacious, and the front desk staff were very friendly at check-in. Mehmet Emin at the rooftop restaurant was particularly attentive and welcoming. Five stars for him!

The room got up to 27 degrees at night, and it was still 25 in the morning after we opened the window. We could only open it a little, and that didn't help. People below us were smoking with their window open, so smoke came into our room. I'm very sensitive to that smell and get a headache right away, so we had to shut the window. The AC only had heating available, even though daytime temperatures outside were over 29 degrees. They said it was because it was winter, but it was only October and that heat didn't feel like winter at all. Nothing was offered to make up for the experience. This was by far the worst hotel stay we've ever had, especially for the price. Never staying at a Holiday Inn again. 🙏

The views of Mount Erciyes were the best part. I could see them from both my room and the rooftop, and waking up to that backdrop was breathtaking. I arrived at Holiday Inn Kayseri Düvenönü at 1am and got a warm welcome from the friendly front desk staff, who helped with my luggage. As an elite member, I was upgraded to the top room category, a spacious, clean, well-kept suite. I also really appreciated being allowed to check out late, at 3pm. Breakfast choices were limited, but the rest of the stay more than made up for that. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kayseri for the comfort, hospitality, and scenery.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the lobby was spacious and pleasant. My room was roomy, and the building itself is new. The hotel is right downtown, so everything was within walking distance, with a tram station next to the station. I stayed five nights on a business trip in September 2024. This was my second Holiday Inn property in the past 10 days.
