Fame Beach Hotel

The meals had a nice range of choices, though top-shelf drinks cost extra. The rooms felt small for what we paid, and the central air conditioning shut off around 1-2 a.m. while we were trying to sleep in temperatures close to 100°F or 37°C. We called the front desk several nights in a row, and they said they’d turn it back on. That was very disappointing at a resort charging toward the higher end. Because I’m not Turkish, they sent a memo to my room asking me to meet a travel coordinator to make sure I had my arrangements in order for the trip home. It felt unnecessary, as if someone staying at a resort wouldn’t already have that planned. I’ve stayed at many high-end hotels and resorts, so I don’t rate this one highly. I expect to get what I pay for, and it’s worth researching before choosing a place. This was a family trip, so the choice wasn’t mine.

The beachfront setting at Hotel Fame Beach in Kemer, Turkey, made for a lovely stay. The food included a tasty mix of local and international dishes, and the bar had a good range of drinks to enjoy by the sea. Staff were attentive and friendly, always making sure guests were looked after. A great spot for a relaxing holiday.

We had an easy check-in and check-out, and airport transfers were available. This is a quiet, small 4* hotel with helpful, pleasant staff throughout. There’s a private space for guests right in front of the sea, with lovely views of both the water and nearby mountains. Fresh food and drinks came in a good variety, and rooms were cleaned daily.

My wife and I had never vacationed in Turkey before, and we were impressed by everything. For the price, the service is definitely worth it, and I can recommend the hotel. The rooms are a little small, but there’s enough space for two. Everything was super clean, with fresh towels and bed sheets available in the room each day. The restaurant and outdoor terrace were kept clean too. Staff cleared tables quickly and worked really hard. I especially noticed the older gentleman with glasses looking after the floor around the pool and tables. There was plenty of fresh, tasty food, including lots of seafood, with a big choice at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Coffee, tea, and drinks were available all day until 11 pm.
