The staff were great, and even though I only stayed one night, they kept my bags the next day and arranged a taxi to the airport. It's a small, simple hotel tucked at the edge of the Konya Bazaar, but the location makes it easy to walk to everything I wanted to see.

The communal balcony was a lovely spot to sit in the evening and watch people go by. We also had a wonderful view of the beautiful Aziziye mosque, and being right in the old market area was a big draw. We stayed two nights in June while visiting Konya, including the Ataturk museum, Mevlana museum, and Catalhoyuk, and mainly needed somewhere to sleep. As non-smokers, we were glad the hotel and room didn't smell of stale cigarette smoke as we'd expected. Murat and his wife were so kind and helpful, and for the price this was terrific value. Five stars from us.

The staff were welcoming and helpful with recommendations, and the shared living room was useful after checkout while we explored the markets. The hotel is right in the centre, about four minutes from the museum complex, with plenty nearby. We felt safe at night, and the area was lively during the day. The toilets and bathroom had been refurbished, and our room was clean and well ventilated, with a balcony and great views. Sema shows: the cultural center on Saturdays at 19:00 for 70 TL; RIFA theatre daily at 21:00 for 750 TL; Metlava museum free on Thursdays at 20:30. Konya was a surprise for us in Turkey. The hotel is well maintained and so central that we could visit places and come back to rest. The hospitality was amazing. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Konya.
