The restaurant was the best part of our villa stay. The staff there were friendly, service was very good, and the food was tasty and plentiful at reasonable prices. I can't say the same about the rest. The bedrooms were clean, but the bathroom and toilet were very dirty and neglected. The downstairs living room and kitchen smelled moldy and weren't clean. There was no real villa service: they said the pool was being cleaned, but it wasn't, and the women who came to clean the villa didn't actually clean it. We stayed July 10-16, 2021. We had requested a sunny pool when booking and again when we arrived, but the pool at the villa we were given got no sun and was freezing. We were shivering and couldn't use it. When we asked to switch villas, reception kept us waiting outside for three hours on the first day. Then they said the manager wouldn't come, and refused our refund request. One receptionist shouted, “My new guests are coming, leave this place,” as if we weren't guests too. We said we'd report it and call the police. Hasan Bey, the officer in charge of the villas, came and sorted things out. He apologized on their behalf, God bless him. As he was taking us to the new villa, the manager arrived angrily, asking why we were causing trouble. We explained it had already been resolved, but his behavior was unpleasant. Would I go back to a place with a manager like that? Never. I definitely don't recommend it. If you want to feel humiliated after paying, that's your decision.

The silence was lovely, and the hotel and villas sit in beautiful natural surroundings. But after a stay four years ago when I would have rated it 10 out of 10, this visit surprised us and would get no more than a 5. The hotel is old and generally neglected, and the staff weren't very attentive. The villa kitchens are adequately equipped. The pools get very little sun, so even in August the water is very cold, and children aren't allowed in them. The hotel used to offer an open buffet, including to villa guests, but now only has à la carte service. I'd like to see it return to how it was.
