We had a spacious, clean room with a comfortable bed and pillows, and the staff were friendly. The food was delicious. We stayed all-inclusive for 10 nights. The beach is only a 15-minute walk away, and there's a free shuttle too.
The entertainment was good most nights, though I think it didn't run on Saturdays or Sundays. My daughter got stuck in the bathroom and the lifeguard had to climb over to get her out. The kids' club made cookies, but only two kids were there. There are two sessions, and only the morning one included cookie-making. The food was alright, but plain. The resort was good otherwise. There was a loud call to prayer from a nearby mosque, and shops were a 10-15 minute walk away.
Definitely a budget hotel, you get what you pay for, no thrills. We wouldn't come back, it didn't feel like a hotel at all. The bar and entertainment stopped at 10:30pm, which isn't much of a holiday. There wasn't a drinks menu, and the TV in our room didn't work. They said they'd come fix it but never did. The shower leaked, the sink wobbled, the window wouldn't close, and the balcony door wouldn't lock. The mattress was too hard. We were given a top-floor room opposite the pool even though we'd asked for a lower floor. The mosque woke us every morning at 5am. Other guests underneath us argued and fought, and were eventually kicked out of the hotel. Alex was friendly, but some of the other staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered to serve you. I even heard them slagging guests off. Not good.
The pools were generally good, and we enjoyed them, especially the flume and slide. But we saw kids running up the flume with no one stopping them. The lifeguard seemed to be hanging around on his phone instead of watching, and we thought an accident could easily happen, so we alerted the staff. We arrived after 1am and were taken to a top-floor apartment. The lad who showed us there begged for money. The kitchen had bunk beds and a single bed next to them, although there were only two of us. My partner has trouble with her legs, so the next morning she showed her disability badge at reception and asked for a ground-floor apartment. They arranged one for us, which was good of them, though we lost a decent view. The room was sort of clean, but many doors, including ours, needed painting. The shower mostly worked but leaked during our last week. The beds were very hard, and we didn't feel rested in the mornings. The air con worked well and wasn't too noisy on sleep mode. We were all-inclusive, but the alcohol selection was just beer, white rum, vodka, gin, and wine. No unbranded brandy or whiskey, which we've had at other all-inclusive places in Turkey. We're very sure the white spirits were watered down. We drank rum neat and it definitely seemed diluted. White wine was the only drink that had any effect on us. The food wasn't great, was samey, and often not very hot. Desserts looked nice but tasted bland and not very sweet. Still, you have to eat. You needed to arrive early for a table in the main area, though there was extra seating upstairs. We put a bag on a table to show it was taken, but on our first day we left two glasses of orange there, came back with our food, and found them gone with another family sitting in our place. The main barman rarely smiled, had an abrupt manner, and was stingy with measures despite the drinks seeming watered down. The other bar staff were generally nice. The bar and entertainment closed at 10:30pm, while most people felt they could have gone another hour. Entertainment was very poor. The pop quiz in the first week wasn't good, and the music was mostly what we call euro trash, without much variety. The disco wasn't really a disco, and the DJ spent the evening chatting up two young Belgian girls. His assistant tried to entertain the kids, but with little energy. Euro trash thumped around the main pool all day. Wednesday's 'Bingo game' was just one game stretched over an hour: 1 line, 2 lines, then a full house. The prizes seemed quite generous, but it moved soooo slowly, with 3-5 minutes between numbers. We were thinking, 'Pleeeeease get on with it!' We eventually got to one number from a full house. Two cards for 6 games cost us 1400 lira. The pool toilets weren't great. My partner said the ladies' toilets never seemed to have toilet paper, and neither set of toilets was kept as clean as it should be. It wasn't all bad, though. Catty Cats really does have cats running around. Most looked starved, and other guests fed them. That was enjoyable, but mostly self-generated.
We thought it was not bad for the price, more or less what you'd expect. The rooms were clean and fine. Staff were friendly, and the older barman who looks miserable is actually a great guy, though that first impression isn't great. The pools were good and the kids loved the slides, but they only opened for two hours at a time. They should be open all day. Buffet food was okay, but it was a bit of a lottery since there were hardly any labels saying what the dishes were. There were no snacks outside breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and no ice cream for kids. The bar hours were 10:30 am -10:30 pm, which was fine. Pizza Point, the restaurant outside the hotel, was fantastic. The owners were really nice, and the prices were good. It was the only place we ate out without feeling ripped off. The mosque's speaker system is very good. Its call to prayer starts at 4am and scared the life out of us the first night. The mosque isn't right next to the hotel.
