Tropic Beach Club

The beach is right there, and that's about the only good thing I can say. If a decent room matters to you, stay away. My bathroom was small, the toilet was dirty, and I couldn't lock the door. The rooms are garbage, despite what the pictures on this page show, and the staff weren't helpful. My sheets felt old and worn, so I slept in my clothes to keep my skin off them. It was way overpriced for what it is. Maybe if all you care about is the beach and partying, it won't matter. If you pay more, they'll put you in a better room, though I don't know whether it looks like what's on Google maps, it will face the ocean. I don't know how anyone gives this place four stars. It's sad that there are no standards. I wish countries would set some, instead of businesses just trying to take money and caring about nothing else.

The location was perfect, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. The mini-fridge and kettle in the room were especially handy for tea and late-night snacks.

The room was dirty, there were no towels, and the staff were rude and asked for tips. There weren't even cups at breakfast, along with many other bad things. The man at reception asked for 2000 liras for the room as a “special price” and took 300 liras in tips. We didn't get any receipt. The next morning, the woman at reception was surprised to hear the room had been booked. He had also forgotten to give our passports back, and thank God we realized the next day. We wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Morning sea air and waves at night made the stay feel so peaceful. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was unforgettable.
