After a disappointing first stop on our long journey through Turkey, arriving at Side Villa Hania felt like discovering a Mediterranean dream. The manager, or perhaps the owner, welcomed us warmly at the entrance and personally said goodbye when we left. That kindness made the villa feel like home, only a little magical. Everything was spotless and beautifully put together, with modern comfort and Turkish style. Breakfast was ready exactly when we’d asked for it. It was almost too pretty to eat, but we did: fresh bread, local cheeses, nuts, juices he squeezed for us, and lovely coffee and tea. I even saw him go out early to get the bread. It was delicious as well as beautiful. Our whole stay felt like an unexpected privilege among Side’s ancient sights and sandy shores. We feel lucky to have found this place, and when we return to the region, Side Villa Hania will be our only choice.

The garden is lovely to see and smell, the pool is perfect, and there’s a real sense of peace here. I’ve never felt more welcome anywhere. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is incredible. Pamuk the dog and his very cool owners were the best hosts a woman could ask for. There’s food, drink, markets, tuktuk rental, and even the best hamam, Heaven Hamam, close by. I was lucky to find a last-minute room and feel truly blessed I stayed here. As a first-time visitor to Turkïye, the Hania has made me want to come back every year. Spacibo! Honestly, I almost don’t want to tell anyone about the place in case it gets too popular for me to book next year.

I stayed in a peaceful setting and had a wonderful time at this charming villa. The internet was fast and reliable, great for working remotely. The villa was spotless and recently renovated, and the staff were warm and friendly. They always greeted me with a smile and seemed to anticipate what I needed. It’s a hidden gem and well worth visiting.
