Sealife Buket Resort & Beach Hotel – All Inclusive

We were especially pleased with the food. It was better in variety and taste than we'd expected, and there was grilled meat, chicken and fish every night. We also enjoyed our Italian meal on the bonus night, though you needed to reserve it ahead of time, and the service there was good. On our last day, we checked out at noon but could still use the facilities and have lunch, which was really convenient with a 9 pm flight. Our room was a surprise too. We'd booked a basic triple, but got a free upgrade to a spacious, clean and beautiful duplex for five in the main building. It was about a 3 to 4 minute walk from there to the beach and pools. The beach was okay, if crowded and a bit disorganised. There are two pools, nothing special, and two small slides that turned out to be fun. They ran at set times during the day. The entertainment crew were okay, and the free ping pong table was fun for us. The biggest letdown was that the resort didn't have the luxurious, exclusive feel we'd hoped for. The beach looked especially packed, with around ten neighbouring hotel beaches right alongside it. You could see their pools and slides and hear their music too. The woman handling restaurant reservations was very rude and unprofessional, easily the least friendly person I've seen at a hotel. On our last evening, reception quoted 40 euros for a taxi to gazipaşan airport. The next day we were told it was actually 85 and the first woman had made a mistake. It disrupted our plans a bit and left a bad taste. The weather was okay in the second week of October. We could sunbathe and enjoy the water during the day, while the nights were a little cold, though not too bad.

For the last week of October, this was a lovely escape from the cool weather in Europe. We were pleasantly surprised by the good entertainment for all kinds of guests and the quality of the drinks. The food was great each day, with plenty of choice, and we liked the snack bar. The main entertainment guy had loads of energy and was fantastic. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone.

The pool was clean, the food was good, and the kitchen looked clean too. The bar staff worked really hard, as did the waitresses, and the animation team were clearly doing their best to keep guests entertained. There were several problems, though. Don't take photos with the parrots, it can cost up to 300 eur and feels like a scam. Our toilet door wouldn't close, and there was no ventilation in the toilet. Sign up for the one time restaurant on your first day, or they may tell you later that you're registered when you're not. In the morning, the mini bar and cleaning staff would come in even when we had the "do not disturb" sign hanging outside.

The pool and beach were clean and felt safe, with a great lifeguard keeping an eye on children and other guests. He was really kind and helpful. The staff here are wonderful, and the waiters were polite and ready to help. This was my second visit and I wholeheartedly recommend the place. I'll definitely come back, it's wonderful!
