Beyaz Kale

Our room was a little small, but the bedsheets were clean, and the South Entrance of Pamukkale was just a five-minute walk away. There was a mistake with our booking because we were meant to arrive the day before. The owner kindly adjusted it and let us leave our bags before check-in. Thanks for a great stay!

We got a nice view of the balloons from the hotel terrace in the morning. Breakfast there was nice, prepared by the lady owner, while her husband brought fresh bread. The two owners were very nice, especially the lady. The hotel was okay overall and in a handy spot by the main road, next to the bus station and close to the Hierapolis museum, though the bathroom wasn't in the best condition. There's a shop next door and some good restaurants that are a little cheaper than those by the museum entrance. They also offered us a hot air balloon flight, much cheaper than in Cappadoccia, though there are fewer balloons in the sky. Overall, a nice hotel 👌

The owner was super friendly and helpful, and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. Our room was clean and the A/C worked well. It stayed quiet at night away from the main street, yet was conveniently right beside the dolmus stop from Denizli.

The best part was waking up to hot air balloons and paragliders overhead. The location was excellent, and booking through hotel apps made it fairly cheap. We stayed three nights. It could work for a day or a couple of days as a stopover, but the property feels tired inside and out. The pool water was cool, even though it comes from the local natural hot water. The parking was tight, though the hotel is a couple of streets from plenty of cafes and shops. Several areas around the pool need repairs and a tidy-up. There were also so many family members hanging around watching that it was off-putting when we wanted to relax and use the pool. There was no coffee or tea-making setup or fridge in the room. Drinks weren't free at reception; all beverages came from a locked fridge and were expensive. Breakfast cost extra and had a poor selection, so we ate elsewhere. We didn't see anyone eating there during our three days. There were strict rules against bringing any food or drink onto the premises unless bought from reception, which seemed a little unfair, especially when they didn't provide something as simple as bottled water. We were also told to bring our own towels and not use the hotel towels at the pool, which was very odd.
