Agon Ephesus

The owners were very friendly and full of useful information, and they served us a lovely breakfast with good coffee. The building was clean and tidy, the spacious room was comfortable, and the hotel seemed well maintained. It's right around the corner from the Ephesus Museum. For the price, this was probably the best stay we had.

We really enjoyed relaxing with a drink in the courtyard after our trips. It had a wonderful atmosphere, and the hotel's location was perfect. Our room was cute, spotless, and full of little details. Serhat Bey and his wife were always smiling, attentive, and thoughtful about making us comfortable. They answered all our questions and were happy to help with restaurant recommendations or anything else. Agon is a magical place, and we'd have missed out if we hadn't booked. The couple who run the hotel are lovely and know a lot about the town and nearby Ephesus. We had breakfast there and met a local archaeologist and architect who stopped by. The building is beautifully constructed, and our room was tidy and comfortable. It's on a cute side street lined with little shops and cafes, within walking distance of the Basilica of Saint John and the Selçuk Castle. Highly recommend!

My father and I had a wonderful stay at Agon, just like the other reviewers describe. The simple, austere rooms were impeccably clean, and breakfast was delicious. Serhat, the owner, was extremely hospitable and helpful with recommendations, making sure we had the best stay in Selçuk. Thank you.
