You get a view across the whole bay, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the water and another five minutes to the village center. The rooms are roomy and very clean. Breakfast was generous and really good, and we loved staying here. One of the best hotels in Selimiye!

Gala is easily my favorite boutique hotel so far. I usually go for boutique places on vacation, and the family running this one manages to make it feel warm and homey while still being professional. The garden and restaurant area were a highlight, with greenery, bougainvillea, banana trees, and a lovely South Aegean view. The rooms also have a nice sea view and a small balcony that’s handy. Everything felt carefully placed and thought through, and the room was spotless and fresh. The AC worked really well, the bathroom was clean and comfortable with strong water pressure and steady hot water, and housekeeping kept the room in great shape throughout. Breakfast was a proper Turkish spread, with fresh, tasty local products. It felt like a little feast each morning, and you could tell they put care into it. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the center. The owners were glad to help with transport and shared useful tips about places to go and things to do. The staff were attentive and supportive, and worked hard to make us comfortable. Gala has become our place to stay in Selimiye. I can’t see us picking somewhere else, and I hope we’re back next year. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

The family running Gala Boutique Hotel brings a lot of warmth and care to the place, and the hospitality feels genuinely Turkish. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with many of them looking out over the sea. It’s a comfortable, welcoming place where guests can feel right at home.

The view was one of the best parts of our stay, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. We came back for a second visit, and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Mrs. Nesrin and her son Mr. Onur are such genuine, warm people who made us feel at home. Each morning they had thoughtfully prepared new routes for us to explore, which made every day feel special. Breakfast was amazing too. Mrs. Nesrin’s homemade jams and the different fresh treats each day were such a pleasure. Everyone on the team was kind, helpful, and always smiling. A piece of our heart is staying behind. Thank you all for everything ❤️
