TS Park Hotel

The location is amazing, but we couldn't get any rest or sleep. We were on the upper third floor beside the breakfast room, and our room was extremely noisy. The breakfast staff made so much noise that it sounded like they were breaking plates instead of setting them out. Cleaning staff talked on the phone and laughed loudly in the corridor between the rooms. We kept calling the staff, but the noise never stopped. This was a terrible, horrific experience, and I learned from this MISTAKE: I'll compromise on a location like this to get some quiet, peace, and rest.

The bar downstairs is the main problem here. Music plays loudly every night from 10 PM until after midnight, and it can feel like you're in the bar yourself, so getting to sleep is hard. The hotel is otherwise clean and has no unpleasant smells, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Its spot right in Trabzon Square, close to Uzun Sokak, the Dolmuş, and plenty of restaurants, is a real plus. Breakfast doesn't offer much variety and the dishes don't change daily. Room service just tidies up, without changing the bed linens, and the second floor could use the renovation the first and third floors have had. For the price, it may work if the bar noise isn't a dealbreaker. The elevator isn't really an issue.

Please avoid this place. The building is very old, and the rooms are dirty with outdated bathrooms. Loud music comes from the bar that rents part of the hotel.

The doors didn't lock or even close properly, so I felt the safety was very poor. The place smelled bad, the beds were dirty, and there were stains everywhere. Nothing seemed clean, and there isn't an elevator, which makes it impractical for anyone with a disability or health problem. The cancellation policy also felt unfair because you can't get your money back if you cancel. Staff and reception were unhelpful, and the online pictures were misleading. It didn't look like it appeared on the website or elsewhere online.
