The breakfast team were especially polite and welcoming, which made the meal more pleasant. The breakfast area itself was good, though the selection was acceptable rather than extensive, and service stopped at 10:00 AM. I wish it stayed open at least until 10:30. Ventalia Hotel's reception staff were friendly and reasonably good at English. Our room was quite noisy in the mornings, particularly because it was near the elevator. Housekeeping moved around frequently and spoke loudly, so there wasn't much quiet.

The staff were the highlight for me. They're awesome, always ready to help with anything, and do it with big smiles. Vantalya hotel is a great place to stay in Van - Turkey, right in the heart of the city and very close to the city center.

There are all kinds of shops around the corner, and access is easy. There's no parking at the hotel, though parking nearby was easy to find. We stayed for two nights and felt comfortable in the spacious, cosy room. It was very clean too. The mattresses are really extra soft. The WiFi worked great, and the room was soundproofed. The staff were lovely and helpful, and all spoke good English.

The rooms were very good for the price, and we had a great stay at Vantalya Hotel in Van. Sarhat, the receptionist and hotel attendant, deserves a special thank you. He was welcoming, polite, and helpful throughout. He upgraded our room, made coffee while we waited, suggested restaurants and things to do in Van, and explained the proper airport taxi fare so we wouldn't overpay. He really made us feel welcome. Thank you, Sarhat. We'll definitely be back, especially for you.

The rooms and bathroom were sparkling clean. We found the mattress a bit hard and would have preferred it softer, if possible. Still, it was very good value and worth the price.
