Sezz Hotels Spa Wellness Yalikavak

The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were helpful and great. This is a perfect little boutique hotel in Yalikavak, about a 10-minute walk from the marina and a 20-minute drive from Golkoy.

The beach is only 20 metres away. We loved having breakfast mezze-style by the pool, and the team were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom needs attention. It smelled unpleasant and had no basic hangers, the lighting in the room could be better, and the pillows weren't comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Housekeeping and cleaning also seemed to have slipped since our visit last year. There are still good things about Sezz Hotel in Bodrum. It's a small, intimate place in a good location, and requests were generally handled quickly. Mohammed Ali, the breakfast waiter, was always polite, friendly, and smiling, which made mornings nicer. Rabia at reception was helpful, though the driver prices were sometimes quoted in Turkish lira and other times in euros, which was confusing. Kenan, the driver, was quiet and polite, and our rides with him were pleasant. The hotel still has charm and a good team, but service consistency and attention to detail need work to match what we experienced before.

Still, this stay at Sezz Hotel in Bodrum was disappointing compared with last year. Cleanliness and housekeeping weren't up to the same standard, and one person in our group got bed bug bites during the stay, which was very concerning. The bathroom smelled bad and had no hangers. The room needed better lighting, and the pillows were uncomfortable. The hotel has some great staff and potential, but cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance need serious improvement.
