Eyran was a very friendly, kind host. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with a double bed, a couch and table, plus a single bed, so four people could sleep there comfortably. It was clean and close to Old Sultanahmet and plenty of restaurants. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque were about a 15-20 minute walk away. For the size and comfort, it was very good value. The blankets could be better. Even the double bed had separate individual blankets, which wasn’t convenient for my wife and me. Apart from that, it was great.

The location worked really well for our Istanbul sightseeing, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our towels were changed every 2-3 days, and the room was swept too. I thought it was great value for the price.

Meydan Suites ended up being my favorite of the five hotels and locations I stayed in during my solo trip to Turkey. I spent three nights there last October, and both the location and service were excellent. Eray checked me in and out, and he’s one of the nicest people you’ll meet: always smiling and extremely accommodating. After I had a bad experience with a cab driver on the way to the hotel, he arranged a ride to Istanbul airport that saved me money. I’d highly recommend this little boutique hotel for its comfort, service and location. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Istanbul. Thanks again, Eray, for all your help and advice!

The room was huge, nicely decorated, and really comfortable. We were about a 10-minute walk from the city center, with a supermarket right downstairs, which was handy. The two brothers working there were lovely and helped us with everything we needed during our six-night stay. We’d happily recommend the place! ❤️

The host was warm and very helpful, and the rooms were clean and finished to a decent standard. There’s a lovely little park across the road, with plenty of useful places nearby. Just bear in mind that the hotel sits below the main sights, and some of the roads are quite steep. For the flattest route, turn right outside the building and follow the road as it curves right.
