I’m not coming back. The bathroom is cramped, with the toilet taking up about two-thirds of the space, and there’s no shower curtain to stop water from splashing around. The room felt dim and dated, like a rundown US motel, with paint coming off the walls. It even reminded me of a horror movie shower where brown water might suddenly start coming out.

I picked this place because I could book without a credit card. It was okay overall, though it’s a bit worn and not very close to the train or bus station. The air conditioning didn’t work, and getting the TV going was a hassle. The mattress felt too soft to me, while the pillows were too firm.

The one real upside was being fairly close to the TRA. Otherwise, I kept wishing I were back home. The floor didn’t look clean, the tub needed cleaning, and paint was flaking with scratches and marks on the walls. There was no shower curtain or bidet, and the wipes gave me a rash. Mosquitoes got into the room, the AC was preset with no temperature control, and the blanket was too small for two people to share. We stayed two nights, but there were no water bottles and the tea wasn’t replenished the next day.
