Travelers Plus - Hostel

Being close to the night market is the hostel's best feature. The rooms were clean enough, but some shared areas were neglected. The water dispenser, toilet, and shower corners and handles needed attention, and the toilet paper wasn't replenished. Only one shower and one toilet were open, and the paper stayed empty from evening until the following afternoon. Noise was a much bigger problem. The bare floors and walls make the whole place echo, and I got stuck with inconsiderate, noisy guests, including snorers. I slept zero hours on both nights. My top bunk neighbor tossed and turned all night, shaking the bed like a snoring earthquake. The beds are sturdy and reasonably comfortable, and the bedding was clean, but they should be secured to the walls. Rugs and some wall furnishings could also help with the echo. The so-called free breakfast was just low-quality white bread with three sugary spreads. It didn't seem worth the long wait for one of the two very slow toaster ovens in the tiny kitchenette. Free instant coffee and tea were available, at least. There was also a poor cat sitting by the open window, meowing sadly all day. Maybe it's lonely, or maybe just annoying.

The location is handy, about a 10-15 minute straight walk from the train station and just a couple of minutes from the nearby night market. I paid 900$ for two nights in a three-bed room, and everything looked quite new. The hostel is modern, spacious, and very clean, with a big common area and several showers and toilets. Doors use electronic key cards. At reception you can buy a towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, or slippers, and the showers have shampoo and body wash dispensers. Toast and jam are offered for breakfast, with coffee and tea powder free to use in the kitchen.

Really liked this hostel. The rooms are great, the service is awesome, and the location is spot on. A top-notch stay!

The check-in counter staff were very unfriendly. The place itself is huge, with lots of rooms and a well-organized setup.
