After I moved from room 7011 to 5012, the problem stopped, so it seemed to be limited to the first room. The front desk arranged the change and kindly gave me ointment for the itching, and they handled it considerately and professionally. That first night, just as I was going to sleep, I suddenly got very itchy all over and noticed lots of red spots on my arms and legs. They looked like flea bites. It felt like a gamble whether you’d get a room with fleas. This was my first time experiencing a room like that, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms were modern and very clean, and we stayed for a week. The hotel was really nice, but the WiFi was absolutely horrible and never worked properly any of those days.

The front desk lady was kind and let us change rooms, but we still weren't happy with the room and checked out that same day. The online photos are misleading, so don’t waste your money. The lobby looked nice, though the hotel is tucked down a very narrow alley. The room had a horrible smell. The hallway wall had strange splotches by the elevator, which didn’t look promising, and the moldy smell in our room made our eyes water. The wall looked dirty too. The bathroom was okay, but there was nowhere for luggage, no seats, and no desk, even though we had a quad room.

I booked in a rush after changing my itinerary, and I wish I’d taken more time to look at other hotels or hostels. There wasn’t anything wrong with my stay: the location was good, my room was clean and safe, and the staff were friendly. But after staying at different places around Taiwan, I’ve found the same good points at much cheaper accommodations. For the price, this wasn’t worth it.
