There are much better options. The place was impossible to find, and no staff were there to let me in or help me locate it.

A small fridge and plenty of outlets, including a universal plug, were useful extras. The single room was basic but clean, bright, and small. It was in a quiet residential alley, though I sometimes heard cars, doors opening and closing, and people walking past. There’s a market just outside by day and a night market in the evening. The MRT and bus stop take a 10-15 minute walk to reach, so daily errands were convenient. The bathroom wasn’t large, but the walls, floor, showerhead, and toilet all looked carefully maintained and clean. For travelers wanting a clean, comfortable place, the stay felt reassuring and like good value.

The night market nearby was convenient, but finding the place wasn’t straightforward. The address was unclear, and we had to pass through a small door and then a little alley. The furniture layout didn’t work well: the sofa beneath the raised bed was dark, with no lamp or table, so we had to eat on the floor. Phone reception was poor, just two FarEasTone bars and no Taiwan Star signal, and the room Wi-Fi was unusable. The shared dressing room was tiny, and the toilet and shower area was only about one square meter. There was no lounge, and the door made a lot of noise when opening and closing because soundproofing was poor. After 6 PM, there was no one available to help, and no feedback form for suggestions.

If zero stars were an option, I’d give it zero. On arrival, the floor was dusty and covered in hair, even the bathroom walls had hair, and they hadn’t replenished the toilet paper. It was clear the room hadn’t been cleaned. The owner moved me to another room after I reported it, but there was a dead cockroach on the floor and two or three spider webs. I sent photos right away and got no reply. I was very itchy all over the next day, probably from all the dust. When I left, two men who seemed to be caretakers went into the toilet outside without closing the door. They looked at us when we came out and still left it open. The whole stay was terrible. If you want to enjoy your vacation, I strongly advise against this place.
