There are some great places to eat within walking distance, so we didn’t mind that breakfast wasn’t included. The hotel is also close to Shilin MRT station. The rooftop infinity pool had breathtaking views, especially in the bright sunshine we got to enjoy. The pool’s interior walls could use a bit of cleaning, but that didn’t take away from our time there.

They arranged an early check-in when I arrived around 6 a.m., which I really appreciated after a long journey. The room was modern, very clean, and felt brand new, easily among the best Renaissance properties I’ve stayed in. Service was warm and efficient throughout, and the whole visit exceeded my expectations. I had a fantastic stay at the Renaissance Taipei Shilin and would gladly return.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet was very good. They even have takeaway cups. The hotel is farther out toward the edge of Taipei, which is the one drawback. Service was impeccable, among the best I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!

We had a really pleasant stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the gym and Sauna room were my favorite amenities. The bed was cozy, one of the best I’ve had in a hotel, and everything felt clean and upscale. The MRT station and night market were within walking distance. It had everything I wanted.

The Encyclopedia on Horses was a fun touch. Our Renaissance Suite came with Executive lounge access and breakfast at Shilin Restaurant. It was spacious, with a big round tub, a king-size bed, and a comfortable living room. Really loved the room.
