We had a nice stay. The staff were friendly, the location was handy for the main areas and night markets, and it’s walkable to the main station for an easy Airport Express trip. There’s no breakfast available here anymore. We appreciated the kettle, and the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, with a Japanese toilet that had all the features and an excellent bath and shower. The bed was large and comfortable, though there was an annoying constant sound when lying down. It was like a distant hair dryer or vacuum. We tried removing the key card to cut the power, but the noise continued, so we guessed it was coming from the next room. The bed’s head was against that wall, making it clear when trying to sleep. It wasn’t the end of the world, and we were only there a few nights, so we managed to ignore it.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s a very nice hotel, within walking distance of Ximending and easy to reach by bus or MRT.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the water pressure is strong, and they have laundry services. But the breakfast used to be so good, and now it feels like budget hotel food. Toiletries are chargeable now, and there’s only one hotel card, so the fridge loses power when we leave the room. How are we supposed to keep perishable items in there? This was my third stay, and I don’t think I’ll be back.

Really liked the room, with its window, big TV, nice Wi-Fi, and furniture with an ancient vibe. It was quiet enough, and easy to get around on foot. Loved being within walking distance.

The location worked really well, and my room was clean. Breakfast was basic but enough, and the staff were helpful. The sink faucet could use an upgrade.
