The common area looked cozy, though I didn’t end up using it. Our double room was clean and fairly big, the bed was comfortable, and there were water and laundry machines. The ceiling felt a little low, but it was a good place overall.

We spent five nights here in January 2026. The location was the best part, with the train station about a five-minute walk to the gate, and both Ximending and Dihua Old Street and Dadaocheng wharf roughly ten minutes away in opposite directions. Our room was standard, with its own bathroom. It’s not a stylish or fancy hostel, but it was fine for sleeping. The staff weren’t very easy to talk to.

The bed itself was comfortable, with its own reading light and power outlet, and the dorm stayed quiet with pleasant air conditioning. Even with the curtain closed, it didn’t get stuffy. Getting in at night was straightforward too: the side entrance beside the convenience store was well lit, and I didn’t run into the dark alley problem mentioned by others. The store is right downstairs, and the airport MRT is nearby. I paid about 600 TWD a night for a shared dorm bed. The cleanliness around the bed was the real issue. I found different kinds of hair nearby, and the small shelf by the headboard came up dusty when I wiped it with a tissue. It made me wonder if the area had been cleaned at all. The bathroom might vary depending on how people used it earlier in the day, but the hair around the bed looked like poor housekeeping.

I picked this place to save money and be near the main station, but next time I’d pay a bit extra and walk farther. The bunk room door squeaked badly, and there wasn’t much ventilation, so it made for a rough night. The bathrooms also felt very dated, and there weren’t enough for a hostel this big.
