The best part was the location, with shops, food, and attractions all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and brought us a fan when we asked, which helped on warmer nights. The beds were very firm, almost too firm for me, and the walls had scuff marks and needed a good clean, so the room felt tired. It’s an okay, no-frills place for the price and worked for our short trip, but don’t expect luxury or perfection. I’d stay again as a clean-ish base in a central spot. Solid 3 stars.

The rooms were small but had everything, and were cleaned with fresh towels every day. Staff were friendly and polite. It’s a simple, basic hotel close to Ximending and public transport. The shower was worn down: a curtain stood in for a door that had clearly broken, and the water drained poorly, so I had to watch that it didn’t overflow.

There are lots of shops nearby, including a 7/11, and the Ximending night market is close. The bed was good, the room clean, and the TV and bathroom were nice. They were accommodating and let me leave luggage. Wi-Fi, shampoo, body soap, tissues, coffee, tea, free water, a water heater, and a fridge were all there. Thank you ximen!

I stayed alone for three nights and enjoyed it. It was affordable, clean, and convenient, with a good location. The room was a little small but enough for me, and room service kept it tidy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Without high expectations, I’d recommend it, and it’s easy to get around Ximenting, including The Red House. There’s no parking, but the hotel faces the street, so it’s easy to call a cab or Uber. The Metro is within walking distance too.
