The room was just right for me: clean, quiet, and with great AC. I had to extend my Taipei stay unexpectedly a few times, and they were very accommodating each time. I also lost my phone while I was there. The gentleman from Place Inn went way beyond what I expected, helping me contact family overseas, get the phone back from the police station, and make sure I didn't miss my flight home. I had an excellent stay and would definitely return. I'd recommend Place Inn 10/10 if you want a quiet room in a convenient spot.

We stayed for 14 days so our parents could quarantine at home. The room was very spacious and the location was convenient. I don't usually expect much from a budget hotel, but this one exceeded my expectations. The staff were enthusiastic about keeping the room clean, and it was impressively sanitary. You sometimes expect to spot bugs here and there, but I can confidently say this place was 100% bugs free. Towels and water were replenished each day, and our contact was very helpful with questions. Thanks for hosting us 😁 I'd definitely choose Place Inn Taipei again if the need comes up.

We liked Place Inn so much that we came back after our trip to southern Taiwan. The hosts were kind and accommodating, and this was easily the best value accommodation we found in Taipei. Our room had plenty of space, a clean, comfortable bed, proper windows for morning sunlight, and an excellent shower head. There was also a washing machine and drying rack on the balcony. The location worked really well, with a bus stop right outside and Pax Mart nearby for cheaper fruit and other products.

We paid about 85 USD a night, and it was a terrible place to stay. The room was about the size of a studio bedroom, and there were mosquitoes around. Construction in the neighboring building made a lot of noise. The contractors smoked on the stairs and left equipment there, blocking the exits. We had two power failures in four hours, which left the lift out of service. We were on the 6th floor and had to use the dusty stairs.

I had a nice stay. The room was clean and quiet, with lots of restaurants nearby and the train station about a five minute walk away.
