Yourcity Warm Nest - Taipei 101 and Big Dome Large Space & Sleeps 8 people

I booked three days before New Year’s so I could watch the fireworks near Taipei 101. When the receptionist checked my records, she found an earlier booking from six months before that I’d never received confirmation for and hadn’t been charged for. She quickly sorted things out, canceled the more expensive reservation and rebooked us at the cheaper rate with breakfast for my pregnant wife and me. She also put through a refund, which I hoped to see on my statement. It’s hard to beat how close the hotel is to 101, and we could watch without being crushed in the crowd. The room was understandably small, but had good amenities. The shower was hot, the beds were clean and the service was great. Breakfast at Louisa Cafe was okay, though we picked up extra food at nearby places. The MRT is very close, and the morning receptionist kindly arranged an airport ride cheaper than Uber or a taxi. Thanks for the hospitality. Update: the refund came through, thanks again.
