Le Midi Hotel Jungli

The only thing I liked was the location near the airport MRT. The internet was painfully slow, much slower than my phone's 5G, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping, so I wouldn't choose it for business. My room on the 27th floor was dated, and the HVAC didn't work. At times the room was hotter than the hallway, and the AC couldn't cool it. The king bed was a plus in size but too firm and kept waking me up. Room service was decent, and the staff kept the room in great condition. Breakfast was disappointing for a four-star hotel. At NT450, there are better options in town. Staff cleared my table and took away the reserved sign when I went to get food, without checking whether I was still eating, so I don't understand the point of the sign. I also ordered two dishes from the hotel restaurant, and neither was up to par. A street food shop could have made them better.

The Wi-Fi was the worst I've come across in Asia. I couldn't even stay connected to a voice-only Messenger or Teams call. The rooms were old and smelled bad, though the air conditioning worked really well. The gym was limited and closed at night, and breakfast had very few choices.

The breakfast had a good variety of dishes to choose from, and it's otherwise a nice place to stay. The rooms are a little dated and could use refreshing. Also, the room card kept stopping work whenever it came into contact with my phone.

The hotel was clean and well located, right beside the MRT station. Chongli night market is just a short distance away.
