If you feel like lunch or dinner, ask the staff and they’ll take you to a simple local restaurant with really tasty food. The breakfast is excellent too. Home Villa is a beautiful, authentic oasis on the outskirts of Arusha, with a friendly atmosphere where you can mingle with locals and take in the Tanzanian feel.

The neighbourhood feels local and safe, and Hillary and his crew were very kind. We had an amazing stay. Our room was comfy and everything was quite clean. We can highly recommend it.

The cozy accommodation has lots of lovely little details, but what made my four weeks at Home Villa so special was the people. They welcomed me warmly and went out of their way to help me feel at home, sharing their language and culture along the way. Their genuine hospitality turned strangers into friends. Hillary knows a lot about arranging safaris and other tours. I highly recommend Home Villa for an authentic, heartfelt experience in Tanzania. Thank you for making the stay so memorable. Sending hugs to Hillary, Neema, Michael, Amos, Osman, and Gracious. I miss you already and can't wait to return.

Hillary was a wonderful, kind and friendly host, and really knowledgeable. He showed us around Arusha and helped us book an excellent safari. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and hot water. Each night the staff lit a fire where we could chat and relax. We loved staying with Hillary and the team, and can't recommend the place enough.
