Highview Hotel

Those views are absolutely worth waking up for. The staff were always smiling, and they even went out of their way to decorate our bed for our anniversary. We also loved the bracelet a Maasai lady made for us. Our room was a good fit for a one-night stop on the way to Ngorongoror and then serengeti, though it was fairly small and there wasn't much room for our luggage. We managed. The food was the best of all our safari stays, including the hot lunch for the next day. Dinner was a favorite, especially the avocado cake, and they catered to my vegetarian needs. Thank you!

We were only here briefly, but it was a fantastic stay. Breakfast was great and the staff were wonderful. It was cloudy while we were there, so I didn't get to see the views people told me about. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

The staff are lovely, but the place really isn't for me. It falls well short of what I've come to expect from somewhere called a hotel. It's extremely basic, with no conveniences or even air conditioning. Basically just a bed. The hot water doesn't help much either.

The grounds were beautifully kept, and the accommodation was clean. Much of the food was grown on the hotel grounds, which we liked. There wasn't a huge selection, but we always found something tasty. Our first room felt cramped with three beds. The lighting could have been better, and it was hard to regulate the shower temperature. The food was good overall.
