We're writing to the owners of Green's hostel because the hostel manager has no authority to resolve this and we can't contact you directly. We stayed just one night out of 14 because it was impossible to sleep or rest there. The rooms aren't soundproof and have no AC or fan, so we believe the hostel failed to provide what we paid for. You have refused to refund us and shown no flexibility or interest in resolving the problem, so we're taking it further. We're in contact with a lawyer and the Vice President Office in Zanzibar. We understand that the case could lead to the company and owners' details being disclosed in court, a note against the company, and possibly the loss of your work and business permit in Zanzibar. This can be settled the easy way or the hard way for everyone involved. The Zanzibaris we've spoken to, including authorities and government, think your treatment is wrong and not in the spirit of Zanzibar. The many one-star reviews suggest other guests have reacted badly too, and you don't seem to care. We think people should know how your four foreign owners treat customers. It feels like money and greed are all that matter.

The pool was beautifully clean, and I loved relaxing in the hammock. The garden felt like an oasis, with magical lights at night. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and eager to help with whatever I needed. The owner is a wonderful woman who made sure guests felt welcome and cared for. Her kindness and attention to detail made my stay memorable. I enjoyed the hostel so much that this was my second visit, and I'll definitely be back.

Greens Nungwi is close to everything you need in Nungwi, and you can book activities directly with the hotel, which is really convenient. The place was clean and well kept, and the friendly, helpful staff made my stay even better. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

The owner was around every day I was there, and she and the other guests made me feel welcome. Staff were constantly mopping, sweeping, and cleaning. The hostel is in a great spot close to the beach, bars, and restaurants, and the WiFi worked well throughout the whole place. Breakfast was good too. Of the five hostels I stayed in while traveling around Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda, this was probably my favorite. There were frequent power cuts, but I don't think that's a reason to take a star off the hostel.

I loved all the greenery and trees here, it feels like you're right in nature. The pool is clean and relaxing, and the rooms are clean too. Staff clean every day, which I really appreciated. It's five minutes from the beach, budget friendly, and has safe lockers.
