Flame Tree Cottages

The beach in front is gorgeous, with clear blue water and no tides, so we could swim throughout the day. There are other restaurants nearby, and the restaurant on site was very good too. Flame Tree Cottages has a lovely, authentic feel, with a little garden and a small but convenient pool. Everyone there was so welcoming, and the service was impeccable. We also loved having breakfast on our private balcony. A perfect stay for us!

The restaurant is high-class, and the tuna tartare was sensational. Nungwi itself has white sand, crystal-clear, Instagram-worthy water, and a peaceful feel. The hotel sits right by the sea, with a garden and neat, clean bungalows that made it feel like paradise. Agnes is very professional, and the owner greeted us with a lovely smile in the evening. I'll be back sooner than they expect, and I'll send all my acquaintances to this wonderful hotel, with its frangipani scent.

Their dedication shows throughout the hotel, from the comfortable setting to the focus on quality, and in the team that works together to give guests a good experience. The staff welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived. They were friendly and professional, attentive to details, kind, and always willing to help, which made me feel at home. Everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the hotel for its service, food and warm atmosphere, and I'll definitely return.

We felt at ease throughout our stay, and would gladly come back. The hotel is in a peaceful area, right by the beach and just a short walk from all the activity. The whole property was spotless, with tasteful, charming design, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food was good, and we especially liked having breakfast brought to our private terrace every morning. A lovely touch.
