The staff were the real highlight. Caroline and the management made us feel welcome, helped arrange tours, and kindly arranged an early check-in. They were even up before 5 a.m. to see us off and make sure we got safely to the airport. Pila was a guest favorite, and we absolutely adored him. The whole team was friendly and kind, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. We loved that food was prepared to order instead of making large buffet quantities. The food and fresh fruit were excellent, and they also catered to our need for soy milk. The New Year's Eve party was lively, with live entertainment and dancing, followed by a well-organized champagne toast on the beach at midnight. The seafood dinner was delicious too. Our spacious room faced the pool and had a small verandah. There was a sitting area by the entrance, fans and air conditioning, and a roomy bathroom with lovely scented body wash and shampoo and plenty of hot water. The pool is huge, well maintained, has a jacuzzi function, and is open 24 hours. The property is stunning, about 2-3 minutes from direct beach access. Being a little back from the beach gave us some privacy while keeping the shore easy to reach. The water was beautifully blue and clear, and we could swim when the tide was in without too much trouble from seaweed.

The staff were so kind and helpful, especially with activities and planning my trip. I miss everyone already, and thank you all so much! The hotel was beautiful and very clean, with good wifi and air conditioning. The beach was a two-minute walk away, and the city center was close too. The food was incredible, especially the fresh juices, the best I tasted in zanzibar. This was the best trip and hotel of my life, and I recommend it 100000%. I’ll definitely come back.

We didn’t expect to find such a little piece of paradise in Paje. Paje Blue Boutique Hotel is a special place for a Zanzibar vacation, whether you’re with family, friends, or on your own. The atmosphere is understated, the rooms are impeccable, the bar charming, the food delicious, the garden lovely, and the pool clean. Staff are friendly and the service is wonderful. Everything has been handled with care, attention, and good taste. Special thanks to the owner and our host Krasi. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended.

We stayed for six nights, and if I return to Paje this hotel will be on my list again. Our garden-view pool suite was modern, clean, and very comfortable, even by European standards. The manager and staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout. Breakfast had a good selection and tasted great, and we had two delicious dinners at the hotel. The only thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is on the second line, about a 200 m walk from the beach, so there’s no sea view. Still, we had a very pleasant stay.
