Bee House

A great place to stay, 5 out of 5. We had a really positive time with Mr. Taras, who’s kind, responsive, and happy to help with anything missing, give advice, or organize things. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there’s a spacious kitchen for cooking for yourself. We came in winter, and he met us on the main street and drove us home. The house is on a hill, so in snowy weather you need a four-wheel drive vehicle to reach it. It’s a 10-minute walk from the main road in Palyanitsa, where there’s a small supermarket, pharmacies, an ATM, restaurants on every corner, a coffee shop, and ski equipment rentals nearby. I recommend it!

We’re staying at Mr. Taras’s for the third time, and it’s hard to find a more comfortable place in Bukovel, especially for a family with children. The rooms are warm and comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and well equipped, and the hosts are friendly. The ski lifts are some distance away, about 2.5-3 km. During a resort-wide power outage, Mr. Taras switched on the diesel generator, so the guests didn’t feel any discomfort. I can definitely recommend Bee House.

The hosts are wonderful, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, and pets are welcome. There’s also a kitchen and refrigerator. It’s a great hotel, with a very cheap transfer to the mountain. Each floor has only three rooms, so sharing its one bathroom wasn’t a problem for us.

The hosts are warm and helpful, and made it easy to settle in with advice and practical help. The rooms are roomy, clean, well equipped, and very warm. Good internet was a bonus, since that’s especially rare in the Carpathians. There’s a convenient kitchen and two shops within a 10-minute walk. Pets are allowed, and we brought a small dog. A car transfer to the ski slopes costs 80 UAH, so going with another person cuts the price in half. The price is low, too. The drawbacks for me were one bathroom shared by three rooms on each floor and no hairdryer, which I’d been hoping for.
