We were travelling home from the Lake District when a bad delay on the M6 made us decide to stop for the night. Holly Trees, a dog-friendly B&B just outside Alsager, was very reasonably priced, as was the pub a short walk down the road. The room was basic but had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely bath. Breakfast was delicious, and the owner was friendly and helpful. After such an awful journey, we really appreciated the pleasant stay. Thank you to the owner.

A warm, relaxed welcome, a lovely quiet room at the back of the building, and a generous, well-organised breakfast made this short business stay a good one. I was only there for one night, but it was excellent value and I'd definitely stay again if I'm working in the area.

I had a great, relaxing one-night stay for work. The room had all the essentials and was comfortable, and the staff were lovely. It's in a quiet, small village-like area, with an awesome backyard and a stunning view from my room. There's a grocery shop nearby too, which is handy. ☺️

Henry at the front of house was attentive, and the room was very clean. It was a little smaller than we'd have liked, but suited our needs perfectly. The bed and bedding were exceptional, and we slept really well despite a little road noise. The shower had good pressure and temperature. One clean towel did have a stain on it, which was the only negative. A great little stopover and very good value for money. Thank you!!!
