Champneys Springs Health Resorts

Katrina made our evening meal especially memorable. She was kind and went out of her way to make things special. We also found the staff helpful when they served us, although we had to wait quite a while at the bar to order drinks on several occasions. My boyfriend and I had a really special night at Champney’s. The room was clean and lovely, but the bathroom felt dated and had marks on the shower curtain. We'd happily come back for the spa facilities and the lovely service.

The gym and spa were excellent, and the meals were great, especially dinner. The buffet hot plate couldn't quite keep up, though. We had a lovely stay and thought it was superb value, with some of the best service. The staff were lovely and the place had a very nice vibe. Catrina and Massimo were wonderful while serving dinner. There was a little mix-up over the tables, and at checkout we were given the drinks bill for the table next door. It might help if someone explained the locker system when guests check in. The place does feel a bit tired. Almost everywhere, there's something that could use a little TLC.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at Springs, with lots of comfortable places to unwind. The resort was clean and luxurious, and the treatment area was clean and relaxing too. I had an incredible massage with Lana. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and all the meals were delicious and great value. Our only problem was the cold room, where we had no heating. In winter, I'd suggest bringing long pyjamas. I'd highly recommend this spa.

We were disturbed by other guests and slamming doors on both nights, quite late in the evening. Some sound insulation would make it easier to sleep, especially in an older building. The shower pressure was great, but it took a while for the water to heat up, and opening or closing the door sprayed water across the bathroom floor and soaked the bath mats. We spent two nights at Champneys Springs for a birthday weekend and had a great time. Our room was spacious, warm, clean and welcoming, and we were lucky to get an upgrade to a suite. We appreciated having complimentary Champneys products to use. The bathroom looked a little dated but was clean and well maintained, with no mould. The facilities were excellent, and we enjoyed the classes, treatments, shops and restaurant. The food was very good, and the staff were consistently professional, warm and friendly. We'd happily return.
