Scott and the whole team were friendly and helpful throughout, and I’d happily come back. The Guest House is peaceful, yet only a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre of Aviemore, so it’s convenient for everything. My room was spacious and clean, and there were lots of delicious breakfast choices. They let me come down a little earlier than the usual breakfast time each day so I could make it to my course. The drying room was really useful for my climbing and mountaineering kit, and the free parking outside was handy too.

I booked at the last minute and got a quick response and a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly owner. The single room was just right, with crisp white sheets, lovely decor, and it was warm and super clean. Great bathroom and a wonderful shower, too. I had an early start and missed breakfast, so I’m looking forward to trying it on a return visit. Perfect location. Can’t recommend it enough.

We really appreciated the drying room after coming back soaked from the mountains every afternoon in February. Scott also gave us some great suggestions for dinner, and everyone was lovely. The room and the rest of Ravenscraig Guest House were cozy, and breakfast was excellent. We had a great stay and highly recommend Ravenscraig Guest House in Aviemore.

For a winter climbing trip, this place was ideal. My kit dried quickly in the excellent drying room, which has proper boot heaters. There were hot showers, big comfortable beds, and generous breakfasts to set us up for the day. The owners were super friendly. It wasn’t too busy when I visited, and the owner kindly let my guide join me in the lovely breakfast room, with its log burner, so we could plan our day over breakfast. I’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was the best part of our six nights in Aviemore. There were several choices, and the main dish was cooked fresh to order. Scott was very pleasant and helped make the stay better, as did his absolutely lovely team. The place is peaceful but central, just a few minutes from the town center. I’d definitely stay here again.
