A lovely country pub with very nice rooms and bar. We called at very short notice after problems at Cardiff airport, and the attentive staff turned what had been a disastrous day into something much better. Fantastic place!

We went between Christmas and New Year and had a great burger from a menu with lots of good choices. The food came quickly and the service was polite. The two kids with us loved the soft play, which kept them occupied and gave us a good couple of hours to relax as adults.

We took our dog for a birthday meal after our AirBnB hosts and a local family friend recommended the Three Horseshoes. We were a bit wary after reading some recent reviews, but had a thoroughly positive visit. The menu was excellent, the food delicious, the atmosphere lovely and the staff friendly. Amazing meal and fantastic service, highly recommend!

The staff are always welcoming and very nice, and I've been here several times for Sunday lunch. Until today, it had been the best Sunday lunch by far. I'm not sure if there's a new chef, but this traditional Sunday roast tasted nothing like it did before. I was very disappointed with my meal.

The main area is cosy and the soft play is fantastic for kids. But the food feels like a scam, it's very expensive for such poor quality.
