The Sandford Promenade

Despite the awful weather, I had a lovely sea view from a clean, nicely decorated room with matching furniture. Mark was incredibly welcoming when I turned up much earlier than expected. He had the room sorted and my bags taken up within ten minutes. Breakfast was superb, cooked just right, and you could have as much or as little as you liked. I’d recommend this hotel, and if I come back to Blackpool, it’ll be my first choice.

We had beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting outside with everyone to watch the sunsets. From our room, the sea views were lovely, and the promenade lights looked great. Closing the windows cut the traffic noise enough that sleeping was no problem. The ensuite was compact but clean and perfectly suitable. Our room was well kept and came with a kettle, hairdryer and a decent-sized TV. There was also plenty of off-road parking right outside. The owners and their family made us feel like part of the family, and the other guests were entertaining too. The bar was well stocked, with cold beer and hot drinks available. Breakfast was included, with a good range of hot and cold options. The cooked breakfast was generous, tasty and not greasy, and the family-run service was friendly. Everyone was relaxed and welcoming when we arrived on a busy weekend. I’m looking forward to coming back, and would happily stop by even when I’m not staying here. Thanks to the staff and guests for making it such a memorable stay.

Our room had a beautiful view and was lovely and clean. The only small fault I noticed was the bathroom fan in strong winds. Breakfast had lots of choice and was great, and Mark’s hospitality and service were excellent. We loved our stay and have booked again in four weeks.

There’s a really homely feel here, and we’re definitely coming back. My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and were impressed from the moment we arrived. The owners were warm, friendly and happy to chat, and the room smelled and looked very clean. Breakfast was great, and they were glad to help with anything we asked. We also enjoyed a drink and a chat in the cosy bar with the owner and some lovely guests. Best hotel we’ve stayed in in Blackpool.
