I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I booked a twin room and got bunk beds, with no warning before the booking. There were no chairs to sit on, and the car park was tiny. Parking was £25 a night.

This was a total disappointment and didn't feel welcoming. I booked a single room for three nights but left after two. My room was at the back, which didn't bother me. It is budget accommodation, so I expected a bed and a small en-suite shower and toilet, but there was nothing else. No food facilities, kettle in the room, or even a vending machine at reception. The toilet was dirty, the shower door was thick with limescale, and the pillows and duvet smelled of sweat. The place felt oppressive, extremely dirty and poorly maintained. I can't recommend it.

Believe them when they call it a budget hotel. There were no room facilities, and a couple were given bunk beds. The lift was broken, so a disabled man had to use the narrow stairs. Parking was a complete joke. At checkout, I was told there was a £25 fee to park outside the hotel. If I'd known, I would have parked elsewhere for free with my blue badge.

You get what you pay for, I guess. The room had no amenities beyond the bathroom, and the bed was broken and uncomfortable. The heating was stuck on full blast all day and night, with a loud radiator. I was sweating even with the windows open, and there was no thermostat or air conditioning. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly, and the floor was creaky and uneven. The lock only worked if I held the door at a particular angle, which made me anxious it wasn't really locked. A plug socket had come off the wall, and I wasn't given toiletries even though the website says they're free. The lift was broken, so I had to climb 10 flights of stairs through a really confusing layout. I saw only one staff member, and housekeeping kept slamming doors loudly every few seconds.

Great value for money otherwise, but the rooms are very small, so I'm giving it four stars.
