Fox & Goose, Barrow Gurney by Marston's Inns

I booked an overnight stay before an early flight and would happily stay again. The location was great, with plenty of parking, free once you enter your registration on arrival. The room was warm and had tea and coffee, and the bed was comfortable with good linen. The shower had good pressure and the towels were large and good quality. We had a very nice dinner in the pub, served by friendly, helpful staff.

Really good food and service, with a lovely atmosphere and staff. It was very busy, so I’d book ahead. Definitely recommend.

It felt like the kind of pub meal that gets you excited about going out for a burger as a kid. Nothing fancy, just reliable, warm, welcoming food served with a big smile. The staff were so friendly, helpful and considerate. After the place we stayed the night before let us down, it was a relief to come here. It’s around the corner from Bristol Airport and way better than the other local places we’ve tried. We’d absolutely stay again.

We had a lovely meal with friends in pleasant surroundings. Thankfully, we’d booked ahead because it was busy for a midweek lunch. There’s a good selection of gluten-free dishes on a separate menu. We’ll come back.
