The Cadogan hosted the wake for my husband's funeral today, 11/2/26. It was very busy, but nothing was too much trouble, and all the staff were smiling. The food and service were both awesome. Thank you all, highly recommend.

This is one of our two regular places for Sunday Roast. The beef is divine, well cooked and crisped on the grizzly outside while staying a nice pink in the middle. You get plenty of potatoes and vegetables, plus huge Yorkshire puddings. One of us started with the lovely ham hock and nduja bon bons. Jack and his team provide very good service. We like being able to check the Sunday or other dining menus online. If you want a quieter Sunday meal, we tend to go late, around 6pm.

I live nearby and have eaten here quite a few times, for both lunch and dinner. The menu has been good every visit, and every course, from starter to main to dessert, has been extremely good. The wine and drinks menu is very palatable, and the friendly staff are always happy to help. We've never left a meal wanting more. The food is tasty, well cooked and beautifully presented, and hot dishes come out hot. We'll keep coming back. It's like a trusted friend.

We went for lunch during the week with a relative. The food was piping hot and nicely presented, and the bar was spotless. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. There's a large car park with two disabled bays, a large disabled toilet, and separate ladies' and gents' toilets. It's a hotel as well as somewhere to eat, and I totally recommend it to anyone travelling from Bury St Edmunds to Thetford or heading up to the coast. The only downside is the extremely busy road outside, with lorries constantly going past.

Really good food and service, thanks. It was very busy on Sunday lunchtime, which was good to see, and we still got individual service. There were plenty of vegetables to add to an already full plate. Hope to see you again soon.
