Pod 1 had a warm, cosy feel and a great view over the hill. We liked having a secure little garden where our dog could be safe. There was everything we needed to make a simple meal, including a hob, microwave, table and chairs, plus comfortable places to sit. The website description was accurate, and we’d stay here again.

A good overnight break on a long journey, with a spacious lounge and a well equipped kitchen. Our room had two single beds, two sets of bunks and two en-suite bathrooms. Brilliant experience staying here.

The main street is just a short walk away for cafes, food and the like. I spent a quiet, restful night in a clean glamping pod with fantastic views, during the penultimate evening of my Badger Divide cycle. Recommended.

The underfloor heating was lovely, and there were plenty of sockets and USB charging points. These pods are thoughtfully set up for a traveller’s comfort, with a microwave, convection hotplate, instant boiling water tap, fridge, and toilet and shower en suite. I’d definitely use one again.
